Here’s the scoop on this musical theater extravaganza! Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners, Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.
Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that’s been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

World Upside Down, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to nurturing young performing artists in Greenville, SC, invites you to make a lasting impact on our community. Through high-quality theatrical productions, we provide young performers with a platform to showcase their talents, inspire audiences of all ages, and enrich lives. However, as a non-profit, we rely on the generous support of local businesses like yours to develop these enriching performances. Your donations go towards tuition sponsorship and production costs (costumes, set design, large puppet creation, teaching artists, headsets, lighting and audio technicians, and more). You can do so in a number of ways: giveaways, gift-a-ticket, sponsorship, and attend our shows!
Support our musical theater program by sponsoring our show. Sponsorship opportunities start at $100. This year we have 6 shows with up to 420 in attendance for each show. So you will be sharing your information before an audience of 2,400 captive viewers.
