Theater Program

Big news about our musical theater track Fall 2024 season!

Musical Theater Track

We started our musical theater track in January of 2023 with Director Tim St. Clair II. Under his direction, we produced Finding Nemo Jr. , Beauty and the Beast Jr., and Seussical Jr. We are thankful for his investment in our musical theater program. In the fall of 2023, Tim opened his own youth and adult theater program: Ignite Theatrical based in Fountain Inn, SC, at the Younts Center for Performing Arts. We wish him and his family the best in their future endeavors!

As we prepare for our 2024/25 Musical Theater Program seasons, we have a new fantastical team. On May 12, we’ll be announcing our fall show, the new team, and some important changes we’ll be making to give our students and families even more value for their educational experience. Follow us on social media and get on our email list for the big announcement!

Musical Theater Track

Our musical theater track provides training in the fundamentals of acting, choreography, voice, stage performance, stage design, costume design, music composition for shows, and more. The spring season runs from January – May, and the fall season runs from August – November.

Each student in the musical theater track participates in the end-of-season show. Musical theater productions are performed at The Younts Center for Performing Arts in Fountain, Inn.

Every student in our program participates in the show. We train students for auditions and then hold auditions to determine cast roles: main role, a minor role, or ensemble role.

Duration and Schedule

Each training session or rehearsal lasts 3 hours a week for a total of 12 training hours a month and every night the week of the performance before the first show. Typically we do not continue weekly rehearsals for the week of the second weekend of the show if there are two show weekends.

Policies & Pricing

Participant fees for the theater program are $123/month per student. Parents can take advantage of a sibling discount. See the Policies & Pricing page for details on payment dates, pricing, discounts, and scholarship applications. We may offer an alternative payment structure for the stage play track depending

Student Ages

Elementary, middle, and high school students are invited to participate in our musical theater track.
